This policy explains what information PremClub News (premclubnews.com) collects and how it is used. PremClub News is a trading name of Warren Kirk, who is responsible for the site and your information. You can contact us at hello@premclubnews.com.
What we collect
Your club and topic choices. When you choose your clubs and topics, they are saved in your own browser’s storage on your device. They are not sent to us, and you can clear them at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
Comments. If you leave a comment, we collect the name and email address you enter, the comment itself, and your IP address and browser details, which WordPress records to help stop spam. Your email address is never published. Comments are checked before they appear.
Server logs. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) to run and protect the site.
Analytics. We do not currently use any analytics or tracking service on the site. If we add one in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use advertising trackers.
Why we use it
We use this information to show you the news you’ve chosen, to publish and moderate comments, and to keep the site secure and working. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the site.
How long we keep it
Comments are kept while they remain on the site. Spam comments are deleted automatically. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited period.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, including your comments. Contact us at hello@premclubnews.com. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
