How our stories are written
PremClub News stories are written with the help of AI. Our system collects reports from trusted outlets, groups reports about the same story together, and writes a short article in plain English using only the facts those outlets report. European reports are read in their original language and translated. Every article credits the outlets involved and links to the original reports at the end.
Our rules
- Only reported facts. We don’t invent quotes, fees, injuries or details, and we don’t claim sources of our own.
- Rumours are labelled as rumours. Confirmed news is written as fact; speculation is clearly described as speculation and attributed to whoever is saying it. Every story has a Rumour Level.
- Opinion is labelled as opinion. A pundit’s view is never presented as fact.
- Our own words. We summarise the facts in our own words and never copy other outlets’ articles.
- Sensitive stories are checked by a person. Stories involving crime, courts, abuse, death, serious illness or personal trauma are held back until a person has reviewed them.
- What we leave out. Betting tips, club marketing and promotions, and stories that repeat old news with nothing new.
Corrections
With a fast-moving news service, and with AI involved, we will sometimes get things wrong. When we do, we correct the story, and the article shows when it was last updated. If you spot a mistake, please tell us and we’ll look at it quickly.
Independence
PremClub News is independent and is not affiliated with the Premier League or any club. No club, player, agent or advertiser can pay to change a story or its Rumour Level.
